Landing barn owl used in education programs

Princeton Ecology Education Services offers K - 12 Programs and Assemblies that are designed to help build connections between students and the living world. We aim to improve each student’s appreciation and knowledge of ECOLOGY - the science that studies how living things are connected to each other and the environment around them. In the process, students learn how nature works! They also learn how human activities, such as global warming, habitat destruction and pollution, damage the ecological processes that sustain life on Earth.

Education Programs

We currently offer 2 different types of Programs. They can vary from 1 to 5 hours. Programs are designed for smaller numbers of students so that they have the opportunity to engage in extensive hands-on ecological scientific research.

Education Assemblies

We offer 5 different Assemblies. They are 1 hour in duration for a maximum of 300 students. Each assembly involves the use of live animals (particularly hawks and owls), as well as audiovisuals.
